Congress leaders sat on strike outside the Prime Minister’s residence under the leadership of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

New Delhi. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and the party’s National General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi along with other Congress leaders have sat on a dharna outside the Prime Minister’s Residence. They are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

After this, Delhi Police immediately took action and started detaining Congress leaders. The protesting leaders say that this is murder of democracy. He said that we were protesting peacefully. Protesting leaders say that beating students is hooliganism. Those who commit such hooliganism have no right to be in power. Along with this, leaders PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. The leaders of the Congress party, while shouting at the opposition MPs outside the Prime Minister’s residence, said that we will continue with the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.

Prime Minister and Home Minister should resign for ruining the future of India’s youth: Rahul Gandhi

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi wrote on his post that we are marching to Prime Minister Modi’s house to demand answers about the brutality that happened to young students yesterday. He said that the government neither wants to take any responsibility for this nor does it want to have any debate on it in the Parliament. He said that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister should resign for ruining the future of the youth of India.

Congress Seva Dal workers reached Jantar Mantar and distributed food packets to the students and assured them that they are not alone.

The Congress Party wrote that thousands of students of the country are protesting against the hollow education system of the Modi government, demanding the rights of their hard work.
