Conspiracy to attack Trump revealed: The suspect stayed in the same hotel where the event was held; Balance disturbed due to security
Washington. An attempt to attack President Donald Trump has come to light at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, the US capital, which was foiled in time by security agencies. The attacker was caught by the Secret Service on the spot, due to which a major incident was averted.
Was the conspiracy already decided?
According to the information, the accused had already booked a room in the hotel and he was aware that President Trump was going to attend the program organized there. It is being told that he had checked-in at the hotel on the same day and later tried to break the security cordon.
A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the attacker can be seen moving rapidly towards the venue. During this, he also fired at a security personnel, however, due to his bulletproof jacket, the security personnel was not seriously injured.
Who is the attacker?
The accused has been identified as Cole Thomas Allen, aged 31, from Torrance, California.
According to sources, after his arrest, a photograph of him has also surfaced, in which he is seen in a semi-nude state. It is suspected that he was thoroughly interrogated and examined during the security check.
There was a stir at the White House dinner-
The incident occurred when the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was going on in the hotel ballroom. President Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance and many senior officials were present in the program.
As soon as the news of firing was received, there was chaos in the hall. People hid under the tables and the security personnel immediately took all the VVIPs, including the President, to a safe place.
Quick action of Secret Service-
The Secret Service took immediate action and controlled the attacker and evacuated the entire premises. A security guard was shot, but survived because of his bulletproof jacket.
Trump’s statement-
After the incident, President Trump said that the accused was a “sick mentally ill person”. He said that such people cannot change the direction of America.
Trump praised the Secret Service and the police, saying that their quick action averted a major incident. He also informed that all the VVIPs are completely safe and the program will be rescheduled later.
FBI investigation continues-
FBI Chief Kash Patel said that the entire background of the accused is being thoroughly investigated and all the evidence is being analyzed.
Question again on security-
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that an attempt has been made to attack President Trump. Earlier, during an election rally in 2024, a bullet was fired at him, which missed his ear.
After this latest incident, once again serious questions are being raised regarding the presidential security arrangements, although the security agencies claim that a major incident was averted by taking timely action.
