New Delhi: A case has come to light from Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh's native village Dosanjh Kalan in Punjab. Here, controversial slogans in support of Khalistan have been written on a wall near his house. This incident has happened at a time when Diljit is soon going to start his 'Aura India Tour 2026' in India. However, the wall on which the slogans were written is not of the singer's house, but of a person named Mukhtiyar living in the village. He suspects that the people writing slogans might have mistaken his house for Diljit's house.
According to the report, Mukhtiar, a driver by profession, said that at around 1:30 in the night he felt the smell of spray paint outside his house. After this, when he came out, he saw four people writing slogans on the wall. Mukhtiyar objected to this action of those people. However, when protested, all four ran away from there. He told that his house is at a short distance from Diljit Dosanjh's house. In such a situation, he feels that the accused might have made a mistake in identifying him and wrote slogans on the wall of his house.
Police started investigating the case
After getting information about the incident, Assistant Sub-Inspector Harbhajan Singh of Goraya Police reached the spot. According to the police, footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding areas will be scrutinized to investigate the matter. Through this, efforts will be made to identify the people writing slogans on the wall. Police have said that based on the facts emerging in the investigation, action will be taken as per law. At present, based on the available information, it is not clear who is behind this incident and what was the motive of the accused.
