‘Country first, everything else later’… Ajit Doval’s big message to the youth after receiving the Lokmanya Tilak National Award

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval urged the country’s youth to prioritize national interest after receiving the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026. He said that the dream of a developed India can only be realized by adopting the spirit of “nation first, everything else later.”

Appeal to youth to take a pledge to serve the nation

Addressing the felicitation ceremony in Pune, Doval said the young generation should rise above their personal and short-term interests and resolve to work in the national interest. He said building a developed India will only be possible when every citizen understands this as their personal responsibility.

He said that India has an important opportunity to set a new direction at the global level and this opportunity should not be missed at any cost.

Emphasis on duty and sacrifice

Ajit Doval said that true nation-building is not achieved merely by demanding rights, but by a sense of duty, discipline, and sacrifice . He appealed to the youth to make national service their life’s purpose and play an active role in the country’s development.

Amit Shah honored

On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah honoured Ajit Doval with the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026. This award is given by the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Trust for outstanding contribution to nation building and national security.

Praise for the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Government

In his address, Doval also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah . He said that under their current leadership, the country is moving in the right direction and rapidly progressing towards the goal of a developed India.
