Crisis continues: Iranian Foreign Minister returned home without talks, America also canceled Pakistan visit

Islamabad, 25 April. The tension between Iran and America over the blockade on the Strait of Hormuz in West Asia is not ending. It can be easily guessed that the second round of peace talks between the two countries could not start in the Pakistani capital.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had come to Islamabad with a large team. Pakistan was going to play the role of mediator between the two countries. But, the Iranian delegation left Pakistan without coming to Islamabad without any American representation. Now the American representation has also announced to cancel the tour of Pakistan.

Iran is not ready to talk directly to America, so Pakistan is working to convey the message between the two. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner were also scheduled to come to Islamabad from America. But when the Iranian delegation returned, they also canceled their visit. President Donald Trump made this announcement.

Araghchi went to Oman, from there will also go to Moscow

However, Araghchi and Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir were also present in this meeting. After this meeting, Tehran’s representatives left Pakistan for Oman. After Islamabad, Araghchi has reached Muscat i.e. Oman. After this he will also go to Moscow i.e. Russia. That means Iran is trying to find a way out by contacting many countries simultaneously.

Iran refused direct talks

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bagai clearly said that there will be no direct meeting between Iran and America during this period. Iran will convey its views and concerns to America through Pakistan. He termed this entire action of America as ‘America’s imposed aggressive war’ and said that Pakistan is trying to restore peace.

What did Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi say?

Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi has given a big statement after his visit to Pakistan. He said his visit to Pakistan was ‘very fruitful’. That is, the conversation was good and many important issues were discussed. He also said that Iran has presented a practical framework to end the war. That is, such a plan has been given, by which the conflict can be ended permanently. But he also said a big thing that till now it is not clear whether America is really serious about talks or not.

Donald Trump’s reaction to Iran’s decision

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has given a big statement regarding US-Iran talks. He said that in the current circumstances there is no point in holding talks by traveling a long distance of 18 hours. According to him, conversation can happen equally well over the phone. He also said that if Iran wants to talk, it can call itself. America will not travel just to sit and talk nonsense.

When asked whether this meant that America was going to start a war again, Trump clarified that it was not so. He said that no decision has been taken in this regard yet. Trump also said that America is in a strong position. In his words, ‘We have all the cards’ meaning America has an edge in negotiations. He said that he did not want to waste time in useless discussions.

Shahbaz said – The current regional situation was discussed openly.
