Rajnath Singh gave a stern warning to the ‘goons’ in West Bengal, said – ‘They will be in jail or above’

Hooghly (West Bengal), 25 April. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday warned that if the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA comes to power in West Bengal, ‘goons’ will be driven out from the state. Speaking at a road show in Hooghly, Rajnath also promised to give fair prices to the farmers and also talked about working towards providing employment to the youth.

Rajnath said, “I had already said that goons will no longer remain in Bengal. If they remain, they will either be in the jails of Bengal or ‘above’… We will strengthen law and order. We will give fair prices to farmers, provide employment to the youth and at the same time, we will also build good roads. All infrastructure will be developed.”

Similarity in Rajnath’s statement with Modi’s claim

If seen, Rajnath’s statement matches with the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently warned ‘TMC goons’ in the state. Modi had said during an election rally in Bishnupur on April 19, ‘I am giving one last chance to all the goons, syndicates and corrupt elements of TMC. Surrender at your nearest police station before 29th April. No one will be spared after May 4. Mafia of Bishnupur and syndicate of TMC, listen carefully, this will not be tolerated anymore.

Home Minister Amit Shah is also continuously warning TMC goons.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also continuously warning TMC’s ‘goons not to come out of their homes during voting’. He said, ‘I am warning all the TMC goons not to come out of their homes on the day of voting, otherwise your work will be over after May 5.’

Shah targeted Mamata regarding women’s safety

Amit Shah targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the safety of women in the state. Addressing a rally, Shah said, “If anyone has suffered the most under Mamata’s rule in the last 15 years, it is our mothers and sisters. Incidents like RG Kar, Sandeshkhali, Calcutta Law College and Durgapur College show that atrocities against women have happened everywhere. And now ‘Didi’ says that women should not come out of their homes after seven in the evening. I want to tell you that after the fifth date, even a young girl will be forced to sleep at night. She will be able to go out at one o’clock, and no goon will even have the courage to look at her.”

The Home Minister claimed that ‘no BJP CM’ tells women not to ‘go out after 7 pm’ and hit out at Mamata for ‘failing’ to ensure the safety of women.

Shah further said, ‘In all the states where the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power, the Chief Ministers have never said that women should not come out of their homes after seven in the evening. Bharatiya Janata Party promises that if any goon even dares to look at our mothers and sisters with evil eyes, he will be put behind the bars.
