‘Rashtriya Surrender Sangh’, BJP leader gave controversial statement, Rahul Gandhi attacked

Former Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi attacks the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) fiercely every day. From Parliament to the streets, he is seen raising his voice against the Sangh. He claims that under American pressure, India has stopped buying oil from Russia. In this series, he has now attacked the Sangh regarding a statement given by Sangh leader Ram Madhav in America. Today Rahul Gandhi claimed that this organization is actually Rashtriya Surrender Sangh and its leader himself has exposed it. He has given this statement in the context of a statement given by BJP leader Ram Madhav abroad.

Ram Madhav, associated with the Sangh, had recently given a statement in a program at ‘Hudson Institute’ of America. He had said, ‘India agreed to stop buying oil from Iran, despite criticism from our opposition we agreed to stop buying oil from Russia. If India even agreed to 50 percent tariff without saying much, then India is not trying hard enough to work together with America. Rahul Gandhi seized this statement of Ram Madhav and attacked RSS.

Statement given in America

BJP leader Ram Madhav participated in a discussion on relations between India and America at the Hudson Institute conference. He said what India has not done to maintain good relations with America. He said, ‘India stopped buying oil from Iran, agreed to stop buying oil from Russia and also did not oppose American tariffs, then where is India lacking in working with America?’

Apologized for the statement

An uproar started in India regarding this statement of Ram Madhav. Congress party posted on its X account and wrote, ‘Senior BJP leader Ram Madhav is telling the story of surrender of Modi and his government. It is clear from this that Modi does only what Trump wants. PM Modi is Trump’s puppet. This is the reason why Trump calls India hell and Modi does not have the courage to say anything. It is clear that Narendra Modi is completely compromised and the country is suffering the consequences of this.

Ram Madhav has also apologized for his statement after the attacks from the opposition. He wrote on X, ‘What I said was wrong. India never agreed to stop the import of oil from Russia. Along with this, India had also strongly opposed the imposition of 50 percent tariff. I was just trying to make a limited argument in response to the other panelist’s point, but my point was wrong on the facts. I am sorry for this.
