Material

  • 2 cups sweet corn (boiled or frozen)
  • 2–3 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour (optional)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt as per taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp mixed herbs or oregano (optional)
  • Lemon juice (for serving)
  • Finely chopped coriander or spring onion

How to make Crispy Corn

  • If using frozen corn, allow them to thaw completely and pat dry.
  • If using boiled corn, allow them to cool and drain completely before using.
  • Add corn, cornflour, rice flour, oil, salt and spices in a bowl.
  • Now mix it well so that a thin layer is formed on the corn.
  • Preheat the air-fryer at 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.
  • Spread the spiced corn in a single layer and let it cook.
  • Cook at 190°C for 12 minutes. Keep shaking the basket in between so that the corn gets cooked thoroughly from all sides.
  • Take out the corn in a bowl and add chaat masala, lemon and chopped coriander or spring onion and toss.
  • Serve immediately for best taste.
