Cruise overturns in Bargi Dam of Jabalpur; Four people died, rescue operation continues
There were 35 to 40 people on board the cruise when it capsized.
Jabalpur. A cruise carrying about 35-40 people overturned in Bargi Dam due to a sudden storm in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. A police officer gave this information.
Bargi city superintendent of police (CSP) Anjul Mishra said that four bodies have been recovered and 18 have been rescued safely while 15 to 18 people are still missing.
The official said that around 35-40 people were aboard the cruise when it capsized due to a sudden storm. He said that relief and rescue operations are being conducted to save people.
