Monsoon is once again seen gaining its full speed in Bihar. According to the latest report released by the Meteorological Center, Patna, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in the eastern and south-western areas of the state during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, torrential rains have been seen in Rohtas district.
Most clouds rained in Rohtas
According to Meteorological Department data, the highest rainfall in the state was recorded in Rohtas district, where 100.2 mm rainfall occurred. Apart from this, good rain has also been recorded in Khagaria, Katihar and Bhabhua districts.
Talking about temperature, the state's highest maximum temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Valmiki Nagar (West Champaran). At the same time, the minimum temperature in Dehri (Rohtas) was 25.5 degrees Celsius.

According to the information given by Meteorological Center Patna, on August 26, there are full chances of thunderstorms (lightning), lightning and high speed winds in the north-east, north-west, south-west and south-east districts of Bihar. During this period, warning of heavy rain has been issued in Khagaria, Kishanganj, Madhubani and Supaul districts.
At the same time, on August 27, there is a possibility of lightning and strong winds in the south-west, north-west, north-central and south-central parts of Bihar. Along with this, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in Bhabhua, Rohtas and Siwan districts.

In view of the danger of rain and lightning, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the common people to take special precautions. People have been advised to stay away from open fields, tall trees and electric poles during inclement weather. Apart from this, there is a possibility of water logging in low lying areas due to heavy rains and sudden rise in the water level of rivers, hence avoid going near the river banks.
