Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again is filming another major scene on the streets of New York City. A new fan-shot video from the show’s Season 3 production captures a protest scene being filmed in Queens, with several people holding signs and chanting in support of Matt Murdock.

The footage, shared by @miaouagain on X, was filmed on November 2, 2026, on Jackson Avenue. It shows extras standing behind barricades as cameras and production crews capture the protest. Some of the signs read “Free Matt Murdock,” while the crowd kept protesting for the scene.

Daredevil: Born Again Continues Matt Murdock’s Story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

The protest scene follows the events of Season 2, in which Matt Murdock publicly revealed his identity as Daredevil while trying to stop Wilson Fisk from taking control of New York City. His decision had serious consequences, leaving the hero behind bars as the story progresses. Season 3 is expected to pick up from that development.

At New York Comic-Con, Marvel also showed footage of Matt in prison, where he is seen fighting other inmates. The preview further revealed the return of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand, setting up a Defenders reunion. The new season will also bring back Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Another notable development is the reported return of Elodie Yung as Elektra. Although Marvel has not formally announced her involvement, recent set footage has shown Yung alongside Charlie Cox. The two characters were also seen fighting, with Matt wearing a new black-and-red costume.

Marvel has confirmed that Season 3 will be the final chapter of Daredevil: Born Again. However, that does not necessarily mean Matt Murdock’s story in the MCU is over. With Avengers: Secret Wars expected to reshape the franchise, the character could eventually move into a different series or even a feature film.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2027.
