Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School celebrated Ganpati Mahotsav on Friday with great devotion, enthusiasm and festive fervour. The celebration was a beautiful blend of spirituality, culture and joyful participation by the young learners.
The celebration commenced with the auspicious welcome of beloved Ganpati Bappa. Our respected Principal Sir Mr. Tarun Prakash extended a warm and reverential welcome to Bappa by performing the tilak ceremony and offering bhog of delicious modaks. The sacred rituals filled the atmosphere with divine positivity and devotion.
A special highlight of the celebration was the beautiful live tableau of Ganpati Bappa and Mushak Raj which captivated everyone and added a magical charm to the festivities.
Sabhya of grade 1 presented the story of the birth of Lord Ganesha, beautifully narrating how Mata Parvati created Ganesha and how he became the beloved son of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. The narration helped the children to understand the cultural and spiritual significance of Ganesh Chaturthi in an engaging manner.
Adding rhythm and vibrancy to the celebration, colourful dance performances, their graceful movements, cheerful expressions and energetic presentation brought alive the festive spirit and delighted everyone.
At the end ,the school Principal, Mr. Tarun Prakash, showered his blessings on the children and wished everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi . The celebration was a memorable occasion that filled the hearts of all with devotion, happiness, good health and togetherness.
The blessed modak prasad was then distributed among the children, making the celebration even more joyful and memorable.
