Dead body of youth found hanging in Azamgarh, investigation started
The body of 35-year-old Mohammad Tabrez Shaikh was found hanging in the verandah of his house in Azamgarh’s Usargawa village on Sunday morning. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and started investigation by taking possession of the dead body. The cause of death will be revealed after the post mortem report.
Azamgarh: There was a sensation in the area when the body of a youth was found hanging in the verandah of the house under suspicious circumstances on Sunday morning in Usargawa village of Bardah police station area. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Tabrez Shaikh, who worked in a textile manufacturing company in Mumbai. The police have started investigating the case by sending the body for post-mortem.
Dead body found hanging in the verandah in the morning
There was a stir in Usargawa village on Sunday morning when the body of 35-year-old Mohammad Tabrez Shaikh was found hanging with the help of an iron rod in the verandah of the tin shed of the house. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the family members were stunned and there was screaming in the house. A crowd of local people gathered at the spot and the police was informed.
According to the information, Tabrez had gone to sleep on Saturday night after having dinner and talking with the family. Due to no electricity in the house, he went to sleep on the cot kept in the verandah outside the room, while his wife was sleeping inside the room. When the wife woke up on Sunday morning, she saw her husband hanging, after which she raised an alarm.
Used to work in Mumbai, came home a month ago
Mohammad Tabrez Shaikh was working in a textile manufacturing company while living in Mumbai with his brothers. According to the villagers, he had come to his village from Mumbai about a month ago and was preparing to return to Mumbai on Sunday. According to the family, preparations for his journey had also been completed.
Tabrez was the youngest of four brothers. His other brothers also live in Mumbai with their families. The people of the village told that Tabrez’s married life had also gone through many ups and downs. His first wife died by hanging, while his second wife died during childbirth. He got married for the third time about a year ago. His present wife Nigar Fatma Bano lived in her maternal home in Jaunpur and used to come to stay with Tabrez whenever he visited the village.
Police investigating from every aspect
After receiving information about the incident, Bardah police station reached the spot, brought down the body and took it into custody. Along with inspecting the spot, the police also interrogated the family members and nearby people. After this the body was sent for post-mortem.
Police officials say that at present it is too early to draw any conclusion regarding the cause of death. Only after the post mortem report comes, it will be clear whether it is a case of suicide or there is some other reason behind it. The investigation team is investigating the case keeping in mind all possible aspects.
There is an atmosphere of mourning after this incident in the village. The family members are in shock and are waiting for the police report, so that the cause of death can be clearly known.
