Jamia Millia Islamia administration has accepted the demand of the students. A letter was issued on Thursday night saying that student union elections will be held within 6 weeks of the start of the next session. Before this, the Constitution of the Students Union will also be prepared and approved by May 15, 2027. The university administration has also said that notices, disciplinary actions, suspensions and sanctions issued due to the students' protest will also be withdrawn. After this announcement of the administration, the students have ended their hunger strike.
