Venezuela Deadly Earthquake: Two powerful earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela on Wednesday evening (Thursday morning Indian time) have caused massive devastation in many cities including the capital Caracas. After which the US Geological Survey (USGS) has expressed a 44% possibility of death of more than 10,000 people in this earthquake, while there is a 30% possibility of death of more than 1,00,000. Meanwhile, a big statement by US President Donald Trump has come out.

Trump has expressed the fear of many deaths in this devastating earthquake in Venezuela. He wrote on the Truth social platform, “The two massive earthquakes that hit the Venezuelan people have been devastating and have resulted in massive deaths. The United States is ready and willing to help! I have directed all agencies of our government to be ready to respond quickly. We will be there to help our new and best friends. The early news is not good!!!”

According to reports, first an earthquake of 7.2 magnitude occurred in Venezuela and then after a few seconds an earthquake of 7.5 magnitude occurred. Both these earthquakes occurred about 290 kilometers west of the capital Caracas. Many hotels, buildings and Caracas airport were damaged in this natural disaster. This is the most powerful earthquake in the last 126 years, before which an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 had occurred in 1900. For the time being, Venezuela’s acting President Delsey Rodriguez declared a national emergency. The government has not yet released official figures of deaths.
