New Delhi: Passengers are now going to get a unique experience of drinking coffee at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. Here, a robotic cafe has been started near gate number 42 of Terminal-3, where the robot will do the work from taking the order to preparing the coffee and delivering it to the customer. The video of this modern cafe has been shared by the airport administration on social media platform X.
How does the robotic café work at IGI Airport?
The specialty of this robotic cafe is its completely automated process. Passengers can order the beverage of their choice by choosing from the options available on the screen. After this, the robotic arm picks up the cup and places it under the coffee machine and once the drink is ready, it delivers it to the pickup window.
This entire process takes about two to three minutes. The special thing is that in the traditional way, employees are not required to prepare and serve the order.
Tea, ice cream and snacks also available along with coffee.
In this robotic café of Delhi Airport, passengers will not only get coffee, but will also get the option of tea, flavored milk, soft-serve ice cream and some snacks. The robotic arm works with different machines to prepare the products and deliver them to the designated place. In this way, passengers waiting for their flight can get a variety of drinks and food options at one place.
Robot dances to music when order is not received
The most interesting aspect of this cafe is its robotic arm. When there is no order, it is seen waving its hands and dancing to the tune of music. Its unique style can become a center of attraction for passengers, especially children and those interested in technology.
With the launch of Robotic Café at Delhi Airport, passengers will get a new experience of automation and modern technology in the field of catering.
