Delhi Building Collapse: A tragic accident has happened in Delhi. A multi-storey building collapsed in Satya Niketan area of South Delhi on Sunday amid continuous rain for several days. 40 to 50 people are feared to be buried under the debris in the tragic accident. At the same time, during the rescue, many people have been taken out, who have been admitted to the hospital, while the rescue is still going on to bring out the people buried under the debris.

It is being told that the building that collapsed in Satya Niketan was four storeyed. It is feared that 40 to 50 students were trapped inside at the time of the accident. It is also being told that three students have been evacuated and all have been admitted to AIIMS Trauma Centre. NDRF team is engaged in rescue work on the spot.
CM Rekha Gupta took cognizance
At the same time, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has taken cognizance of this painful accident. He has expressed deep concern over this incident. Giving information, he said that the administration and various agencies are working diligently with full coordination to safely rescue the people trapped under the debris. Teams of volunteers from NDRF, DDMA, Fire Department, Delhi Police, MCD and Civil Defense are conducting rescue operations on the spot.
Saurav Bhardwaj made serious allegations
AAP leader Saurav Bhardwaj has made serious allegations after the accident, putting the Municipal Corporation in the dock. He said that the transfer rate of executive engineer in the building department of MCD is Rs 1.25 crore. Critics say that due to such huge corruption it is impossible to stop such accidents.
