Lack of continuity becomes a big problem

Delhi Capitals team is currently at eighth position in the points table. The team has so far won only four in 11 matches, while facing defeat in seven matches. In such a situation, it is considered almost impossible for the franchise to reach the playoffs and now only the official announcement is left.

Before the match against Punjab Kings, Ian Bell said that the team could not achieve rhythm throughout the season. He admitted that in a big tournament like IPL, even small mistakes cost a lot and it is important to take full advantage of the opportunities against strong teams.

Didn’t show strength on important occasions

Former England captain Ian Bell said that Delhi Capitals had come close to victory in many matches, but at the crucial time the team could not perform as was required. According to him, mental strength and aggressive attitude are very important in the match against world class players, in which the team lagged behind.

He also indicated that the team is now focusing on improving its performance, so that such mistakes are not repeated in future.

Eye on victory in remaining matches

The legendary England batsman clearly said that the team is still fully motivated and will take the field with the intention of winning the remaining three league matches. He said that the players are ready to give their best for the franchise and its fans.

According to Bell, the team’s goal is to end the season in a respectable position. He said that positive thinking and consistent performance will be most important in the upcoming matches, because only this can make the team stronger in the future.

It is worth noting that it is clear from Ian Bell’s words that Delhi Capitals could not take proper advantage of the pressure opportunities this season. There was no dearth of talent in the team, but consistent performance and ability to finish matches was weak. Now the franchise will have to work on a strong strategy and stable combination for the next season.
