He is in public space. The court said during the hearing that this matter is not a personality rights case. If someone feels that his image has been tarnished then he can file a defamation case.

Responding to the petition of Raghav Chadda, the High Court said that your political decision of joining BJP is being criticized. Prima facie, there is no violation of any personal rights in this. In the end, the court also talked about appointing an amicus curiae in this case and reserved the interim order. Along with this, Raghav Chadda was given permission to add defamation claim.
