Metro Passenger Clash: Delhi Metro is once again in the news on social media. This time the incident is said to be of 29 April 2026, when passengers had to face a lot of trouble due to disruption in service on the Magenta Line.

It is being told that the metro running between Botanical Garden and Janakpuri West was affected for about 2 hours. Meanwhile, in an atmosphere of crowd and tension, an altercation started between two passengers, which soon turned into a scuffle.

Scuffle broke out between two passengers in Delhi Metro

In the viral video, two passengers are seen fighting by holding each other’s collar. Abuse and pushing and shoving are also seen between the two. It is being claimed on social media that the controversy started over the issue of ‘touching’.

In the video, there is an argument between a man wearing a red shirt and another passenger wearing a printed shirt, and then the matter reaches the point of slapping. People present nearby kept watching the show, while some people were seen trying to intervene. Later both of them got down at Kalkaji station and the argument continued while holding the collar.

People expressed concern after watching the video

This viral video was shared on Instagram by an account named @syed_saif_jafri_, after which it quickly went viral. Users are reacting fiercely to the video. Some people called the person who recorded the video the “best cameraman”, while others kept trying to find out who slapped the first person.

Many passengers also mentioned the technical problems faced on the Magenta Line on the same day. Usually the journey from Botanical Garden to Kalkaji is completed in 20-25 minutes, but that day people had to wait for hours. This incident of Delhi Metro once again shows how delay and crowding in public transport increases the anger of passengers.
