Delhi Air Pollution: Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has taken strict action on Delhi air pollution. Based on the inspection report, CAQM ordered closure of 9 units and sealing of DG sets of 18 units. While it has been proposed to issue Show Cause Notice (SCN) to 11 units and Environment Compensation (EC) to six units.

2.4 KM long 6 lane flyover to be built in Delhi

South Delhi Traffic jam: Rekha Gupta Government is taking swift decisions to provide relief from the jam in the national capital of the country. In the same sequence, the government has also started strengthening the traffic system of South Delhi which is suffering from traffic jams. To provide relief from the jam in South Delhi, a new flyover is soon going to be built on Ma Anandamayi Marg connecting Kalkaji Flyover to Mehrauli-Badarpur Road. The construction of a 6-lane bridge is expected to bring major improvement in the traffic system.

CBI joint director found guilty in 26 year old case

Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court, while giving a major verdict in a 26 year old case, has declared CBI Joint Director Ramneesh Geer and two officers guilty. Tis Hazari Court has convicted two senior CBI officers for maliciously raiding the house of an IRS officer in 2000. The Court said that the officer’s arrest was a well-planned conspiracy to quash the CAT order. Tis Hazari Court Judge Shashank Nandan Bhatt has found CBI Inspector VK Pandey and DSP Ramneesh guilty under sections 323, 427 and 448 of the IPC.

CM Rekha Gupta Inspected Delhi Metro Phase-4 Project: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inspected Delhi Metro Phase-4.
