Delhi-NCR Weather: Delhi-NCR People who have been suffering from the scorching heat and heat wave for the last several days have finally started getting relief. Late in the night the weather took a turn and it rained along with strong winds, due to which the temperature dropped. By morning, heavy rain was seen in many areas of the capital, which reduced the heat to a great extent.
According to the Meteorological Department, the sky may remain cloudy throughout the day today and there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle in different areas. This may cause further drop in temperature. At the same time, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in many states of the country, due to which the weather pattern may change further in the coming days.
The weather changed
It started raining in the capital Delhi from around five in the morning. Earlier on Tuesday also, clouds and light drizzle had given relief to the people from the scorching heat. For the first time after about six days, the temperature was recorded below 40 degrees Celsius, which was a news of great relief for the people.

The Meteorological Department estimates that today may be quite unstable in terms of weather. Many times strong storm and rain can be seen till evening. During this period, there is also a possibility of strong winds and lightning, due to which people have been advised to remain alert.

The weather may remain calm to some extent on April 30, but the chances of the sky being completely clear are less. Light showers may occur in some areas. The weather is expected to remain clear on May 1 and 2. However, there is a possibility of rain once again on 3, 4 and 5 May.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. Weather can affect life in these areas.
