Temperature crossed 44 degrees
Let us tell you that according to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the effect of heat wave may continue in Delhi-NCR for the next few days. The temperature is expected to reach 44 to 46 degrees Celsius in many areas. Due to strong sunlight and hot winds, it has become difficult to go out in the afternoon.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and surrounding areas. Experts say that at present the influence of dry and hot winds continues in North India, due to which the temperature is continuously increasing.
At the same time, experts say that a slight change may be seen in the weather in the last week of the month. There may be some drop in temperature due to rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms.
Electricity crisis is also increasing the problem
Due to the heat the demand for electricity has reached record levels. Due to continuous running of AC and cooler, complaints of power cuts are also being reported in many areas. Due to increase in electricity consumption across the country, pressure on the power grid has increased.
Experts say that if the temperature continues to rise like this, the power crisis may deepen in the coming days. People have been advised to stay indoors during the afternoon and drink enough water.
