1. Rules for free bus travel changed in Delhi

Delhi government has once again increased the facility of free travel in DTC and cluster buses for women. Now women passengers will be able to travel free in buses through Pink Ticket till 31st August. Earlier the deadline for this facility was set till July 31. After this the government took it forward. Now once again, the women passengers of the capital will get relief by extending the period of pink ticket facility. Under the Pink Ticket Scheme, women of Delhi can travel for free in DTC and cluster buses.

2. CM Rekha Gupta said- Delhi will become India's most dynamic urban economy

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday said her government is working towards making the capital the most dynamic urban economy in the country. He said that the pace at which India is developing economically, Delhi will also have to move forward at the same pace. The Chief Minister was speaking at the Indian Business Festival organized at Bharat Mandapam. He said that trade and business will play an important role in taking the country towards the goal of developed India.

Preparations for increase in electricity bill again: Electricity consumers of the capital Delhi may once again be shocked by expensive electricity bills. Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has approved the increase in Power Purchase Adjustment Cost i.e. PPAC. After this, power companies will be able to charge additional 7 to 8 percent PPAC from consumers in the upcoming bills. There was a demand from the power companies to increase the existing PPAC.
