Pakistan was playing a game to terrorize Delhi, Special Cell exposed the terrorist module; 7 arrested

Delhi News: A huge international conspiracy to terrorize the country’s capital Delhi and the entire NCR region has been foiled in time by the security forces. Taking joint action, the Special Cell and Eastern Range team of Delhi Police have exposed a huge terrorist and criminal module supported by Pakistan. The wires of this entire network were directly connected to the neighboring country Pakistan, where the complete outline of attacks against India was being prepared. The police, showing promptness, have arrested seven main members of this dangerous gang, due to which many possible and major attacks in the country’s capital have been stopped in time.

The conspiracy was being hatched under the protection of ISI

This captured international module was not being run by any ordinary criminal, but by gangster-turned-terrorist Shahzad Bhatti and his very close associate Ajmal Gujjar, who were hiding in Pakistan. Both these accused were continuously plotting against India under the protection of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. Sitting there, they were smuggling weapons and narcotics within the Indian border. The main objective of this network was to target sensitive areas of Delhi and NCR.

Major action by police after intelligence input

Inspectors Rahul Kumar, Vineet Kumar Tewatia and Ajit Kumar of the Special Cell team have played a big role in making this entire operation successful. These officers, under the guidance of ACP Kailash Singh Bisht, had kept a close watch on this entire suspicious network for a very long time. In the middle of May 2026, the police had received some concrete intelligence, after which immediate action was initiated. The team first arrested a youth named Mohit, resident of Loni area of ​​Ghaziabad, from near Yamuna Vihar. The police found an illegal pistol and some very suspicious mobile chats from Mohit, which exposed the links of this entire dangerous network.

7 vicious criminals arrested

While investigating this case in depth, the police have arrested a total of seven main accused from different places. The arrested accused include Anas Tyagi, who is a resident of Ashok Vihar, Ghaziabad and had talked to Shahzad Bhatti and Ajmal Gujjar hundreds of times. The second accused is Mohit Yogi, who was in contact with Ajmal Gujjar thousands of times. Apart from these, Deepak Agrola has also been arrested, who already has twenty-three criminal cases registered against him and was connected to this network from inside the jail. Along with them, the police have also arrested Arif, Karanveer Singh, Jatan and Sabir, who were fully involved in smuggling of arms and drugs.

Huge quantity of weapons and documents recovered

Security forces have recovered a huge quantity of illegal weapons and other materials from these arrested criminals. Police have recovered five state-of-the-art semi-automatic pistols and forty-one live cartridges from them. Along with this, seven mobile phones have also been seized, which contain many voice notes and chats of handlers sitting in Pakistan. Police have also recovered a Scorpio vehicle from them, which they used to do recce. The investigation has also revealed details of several bank accounts related to the transactions of drugs and arms proceeds.

The game of luring the youth and provoking them

Shahzad Bhatti and Ajmal Gujjar, sitting in Pakistan, used to trap the innocent youth of India through social media. They used to prepare these youth to work against the country by luring them with money, modern weapons and a luxurious criminal lifestyle. This module used to transport arms, ammunition and drugs like heroin to Delhi using drones through the Punjab border. For money transactions, these people used UPI scanner, hawala and bank accounts located in Dubai so that they could not be caught.

There were preparations to attack public and sensitive places

It has been a very shocking revelation during the interrogation that these accused were given strict instructions to conduct recce of big public places, catering centers and very sensitive places of Delhi-NCR. Their real objective was to disturb the communal harmony of the country by attacking these places and create an atmosphere of terror all around. The strict action taken at this time by Delhi Police has not only completely broken this big supply chain of weapons and narcotics, but has also saved the lives of many innocent people. At present, the police is investigating further in this case and continuous raids are being conducted in search of other absconding accused.
