People living in the national capital Delhi and its surrounding areas (Delhi-NCR) have got a lot of relief from the scorching heat and heat wave. Just before the official arrival of monsoon, the weather pattern of Delhi has completely changed.

Meteorologists say that due to continuous moisture and movement of clouds, the maximum temperature of Delhi will remain below 40 degrees Celsius for the next few days, which will provide great relief from the humid heat.
The coldest phase of the month of June; Temperature was below normal
A day earlier i.e. on Tuesday, the coldest day of the month of June this year was recorded in Delhi. For this reason, despite a slight increase in the day temperature on Wednesday, people found the weather quite comfortable and pleasant:

Condition of Safdarjung: The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s main weather station Safdarjung on Wednesday was 38.1 degrees Celsius, which was 0.7 degrees below normal. At the same time, a huge drop was seen in the minimum temperature and it was recorded 3.7 degrees below normal i.e. 23.8 degrees Celsius.

Region wise temperature: The maximum temperature in Delhi’s Palam was 37.6 degrees Celsius, Lodhi Road was 38 degrees Celsius and Ayanagar was 37.4 degrees Celsius. As usual, the hottest area of Delhi was recorded at ‘Ridge Observatory’, where the mercury reached 39.2 degrees Celsius.
Highest rainfall received in Palam; Weather changed due to moisture in the air
Light to moderate rain has been recorded at different weather stations in Delhi during the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning.

Rain figures: the most 9.1 millimeters (mm) of rain in Palam Was recorded. After this, it rained 2.8 mm in Safdarjung, 2.5 mm in Ayanagar and 1.2 mm on Lodhi Road.
According to weather experts, the main reason for this pre-monsoon shower is the moisture coming from the Arabian Sea due to the Cyclonic Circulation. This moisture present in the air is preventing the temperature from rising.
Weather Forecast from June 18 to June 22
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and thunderstorm for the next 4 days. However, no serious warning has been issued regarding this yet. The temperature chart for the coming days will be as follows:

Meteorologists say that the moisture in the air will start decreasing from June 21 onwards, due to which the temperature is expected to rise once again gradually from June 22 and the effect of heat may increase slightly at the end of the week.
