Dietitians have repeatedly explained that if you want to protect your health, you don't have to give up all your sweet cravings. You just need to keep an eye on the ingredients of that sweet food. Many people keep green mung beans in their daily diet to keep the body fit and prevent excess fat accumulation. Raw or boiled green mung can be eaten at any time of the day. It contains both protein and fiber. Digestion is also not that difficult.
But have you ever eaten laddoos made of green mung beans? Although it sounds strange, it tastes quite delicious. The recipe is simple, even the children of the house can make it if they learn it. Know how to make such laddus.
Materials
• 1 cup whole green mung beans
• 1 cup soft dates, seeded
• ½ cup almonds and walnuts, chopped
• Half teaspoon cardamom powder
• 2 teaspoons of desi ghee
Step 1: First put a cup of whole green mung beans in a heavy pan on low flame. Dry roast for about 10-12 minutes. Switch off the flame when a slight roasting smell comes out, and the color changes slightly. Pour onto a plate and let cool completely.
Step 2: When cool, grind to a fine powder in a mixer grinder.
Step 3: Dates are used instead of sugar or jaggery in this recipe. Make a thick paste with one cup of soft, deseeded dates in a mixer. If the dates are too hard, you can soak them in lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. Do not add too much water to the paste, later it may cause problems in binding the laddu mixture.
Step 4: Heat two teaspoons of ghee in a pan. Add chopped almonds and walnuts and fry for a while on low flame. Now mix well with mung bean powder in roasted almonds. Stir for another minute or two on low flame. Then add cardamom powder. Now add the date paste to the pan. Turn off the heat and mix all the ingredients well with a spoon or spatula.

Step 5: Keep mixing until the mixture thickens. Take the mixture in a bowl and let it cool down a bit. Grease your hands with little ghee and take a small amount of the mixture and shape it into laddoos between your palms.
