Shribhoomi: Villagers submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding a solution to the long-standing connectivity problem in Phettipat village, located in Ward No. 7 of Singalachhada Gram Panchayat, near Dulabhchhada in Shribhoomi district. The delegation of women members and villagers of 'Shilpi' self-help group reached Dulabhchhada BDO office on Tuesday, 29 September and demanded to restart the incomplete road construction work and complete it soon.
Officer-in-charge and accountant Tapas Nath accepted the memorandum as he was out of the BDO office. According to the villagers, the road construction project from PMGSY road to Shiv Mandir was started under MGNREGA in the year 2024. The sanctioned cost of the project is approximately Rs 9.18 lakh and Work ID is 0421007011/LD/9010343443. Villagers claim that till now only about 40 percent of the work has been completed.
Villagers said that with the completion of the road, it will provide convenience to the people of three districts, students, patients and those traveling to Shiv temple and sports ground. He has demanded from the Chief Minister and local MLA Vijay Malakar to complete the incomplete construction work soon, so that the long standing connectivity problem of the people of the area can be resolved.
