Detailed review meeting concluded on the proposed projects for the overall development of the district, instructions to prepare action plan on priority basis.

In accordance with the instructions given by the Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh Government, an important review meeting was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium on Wednesday with the aim of giving impetus to the overall and balanced development of the district. On this occasion, MLA Ghorawal Dr. Anil Kumar Maurya and other public representatives and their representatives were present.
Keeping in mind the developmental priorities of the district and assembly constituency, various proposed projects were discussed in depth in the meeting. In particular, construction and widening of roads, construction and strengthening of bridges, works related to road safety, special repair work of damaged roads and bridges and measures to make traffic smooth and safe were discussed in detail.
Various important proposals were presented by the public representatives in accordance with the regional needs, in which emphasis was laid on development of link roads connecting rural and urban areas, reconstruction of dilapidated bridges, installation of safety measures at accident prone sites and giving priority to quick repair works of damaged roads.
District Magistrate Charchal Gaur, while directing the concerned officers during the meeting, said that after seriously examining all the proposals presented by the public representatives, a strong and practical action plan should be prepared on the basis of their utility and need. He instructed the Executive Engineer Provincial Division, Executive Engineer Construction Division, Executive Engineer Construction Division-2 and Executive Engineer PMGSY to do on-site inspection of all the proposals, decide on priority and submit a detailed action plan to ensure timely implementation.
It was directed in the meeting that all the departments should establish mutual coordination and speed up the work and should not allow unnecessary delay at any level. Paying special attention to the quality of work, construction and repair work should be completed as per the prescribed standards. The District Magistrate said that any kind of negligence or laxity will not be accepted in development works related to public interest. He told the officials that if any delay in work or lack of quality is found, necessary action will be taken by fixing the accountability of the concerned officials.
He further said that for the overall development of the district, all the departments will have to play an active role and with the cooperation of the public representatives, it will be ensured that the development works are implemented rapidly, so that better transportation facilities and safe environment can be provided to the common people.
