Dharapuram: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay campaigned for Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate Sathyabama by holding a roadshow in Dharapuram on Sunday. Election activities have intensified in Dharapuram ahead of the assembly by-election to be held on Tuesday. Chief Minister Vijay's campaign vehicle left from Marudhi Nagar. Satyabama was also present with him in the campaign vehicle. During this, the Chief Minister appealed to the voters of Dharapuram to vote in support of the TVK candidate.
During the roadshow, a large number of TVK workers and supporters gathered on the roadside. Crowds of workers were seen on different parts of the route to see and support Chief Minister Vijay.
Competition between five parties in Dharapuram
Dharapuram is a reserved assembly constituency in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu. A total of 22 candidates, including political parties and independent candidates, are in the fray in the by-election to be held on October 6.
