Dharma Productions announces psychological love story with Prosit Roy

Dharma Productions is set to back filmmaker Prosit Roy’s next feature, a psychological love story that is currently in the development stage.

As per Pinkvilla, the project marks Roy’s next directorial venture following the success of Raakhwhich has emerged as one of the most talked-about OTT titles in recent weeks.

Casting for the film is expected to begin soon, while production is likely to commence towards the end of the year.

According to a source, the filmmaker has long been drawn to psychological narratives and is now looking to explore romance through that lens.

“Prosit has a very strong conviction for psychological stories, and that is clearly visible in the way he approaches his characters. After Raakh, he wanted to take up something that would allow him to explore love and relationships through a psychological lens.
