Dhaval Thakur told how casting scam was identified

Dhawal Thakur said that in the initial days, he too had escaped getting trapped in the trap of fake casting agencies. He told that during college, he came to audition after seeing an advertisement related to casting on social media. There he was told that to get a chance to act, he would first have to make a portfolio, registration and artist card, for which he would have to pay ₹ 10 thousand to ₹ 20 thousand. According to Dhawal, such a situation happened to him twice. After this he realized that this was not a real audition but a way to extort money from new artists. He said that later some experienced artistes connected him to a reliable casting network, where he started getting professional auditions without any fees.

Important advice given to new artists

Dhaval Thakur appealed to the struggling artistes not to give money in exchange for any audition or role. He said that reputed and professional casting directors never ask for fees in the name of audition. If an institution imposes a condition of depositing money up front, artists should exercise caution and check its credibility. He believes that awareness is the most effective way to avoid such casting scams.

Experience of playing the role in ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’

Dhaval Thakur told that after getting the offer of this series, his first priority was to read the script and prepare for his character. He said that he tries to play every character with complete honesty and he worked on this role with this thinking. Sanchita Basu, on the other hand, said that she felt connected to her character Shanvi from the very beginning. She told that she never got the experience of college life because she studied in a girls’ school, so she was able to live that experience through this character.

Friendship started from audition

Both the artists told that they first met during the audition. Their friendship grew stronger during workshops and script readings, which had a positive impact on their on-screen chemistry. Sanchita said that in the beginning Dhawal seemed to be of a very calm nature, but with time, their understanding became so good that many times they understood each other even without saying anything.

Social media changed Sanchita Basu’s life

Sanchita Basu told that she never thought that acting would become her profession. He started making videos on social media as a hobby during ninth grade. Very few people watched his videos in the initial months, but he continued to work hard. One day his video went viral and from there the direction of his career changed. After this he got an offer for a Telugu film. Initially he thought it was a fake call, but after it was confirmed, he acted in the film. She told that at that time she was in 11th class and continued her studies and online examinations along with shooting.

Sanchita said that her mother stood by her from the beginning, while her father was initially not aware of her social media content. When his work was discussed in the media, the family realized the seriousness of his acting career. He told that after the release of ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’, his father openly appreciated his work for the first time, which is one of the biggest achievements for him.

Interesting experiences during shooting

Sanchita told that she had to learn to ride a bike for the first season of the series. She laughingly said that she fell off the bike several times during practice, but the entire team encouraged her. Dhawal Thakur also recalled this experience and said that the entire unit remained alert during the shooting as the bike scenes were challenging.

After working together for two years, both the actors learned a lot from each other. Sanchita said that from Dhaval she learned to understand the emotional needs of every scene, which makes acting more natural. When they were asked what would be their reaction if someone rejected their love in real life, both of them gave a very balanced answer.
