• 7 wins: If India wins 7 out of the remaining 9 Tests, its PCT will reach 71%, which will seal its ticket to the final.
• 6 wins and 1 draw: With this equation, India will reach 64-65% PCT, which will make the claim very strong.
• 5 wins: By winning only 5 matches, India will be stuck at 57-58% PCT and will have to depend on the results of other teams.
