Materials:

  • Cooked white rice
  • lemon
  • Peanuts
  • Oil
  • Chandal
  • Udid dal
  • Curry leaves
  • nuts
  • Mustard
  • Green chillies
  • Coriander
  • Red dry chilies

Action:

  • To make lemon rice, first of all, cook the rice in a cooker or pot without adding much water.
  • Heat oil in a pan and roast peanuts in it. Then add cashews and fry till they turn red. Remove the roasted nuts and peanuts.
  • Then add mustard seeds, dry red chillies, curry leaves, udi dal, chana dal and green chillies to the hot oil and mix well.
  • Then add roasted cashew nuts and peanuts and mix. After roasting the fodni khamang add turmeric and mix it.
  • Add rice to the prepared batter and mix well. Then add lemon juice, salt to taste and finely chopped coriander and mix.
  • Sour tangy lemon rice made in an easy way is ready.
