New Delhi. After Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), a new party has come into the fray. Its name is 'Dimagi Naxal Party'. Till now lakhs of people have joined it. In fact, on the occasion of 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had used the word 'Intellectual Naxal' from the ramparts of the Red Fort. Now the same word has created a huge stir in the political circles of the country as well as on social media. Soon after this speech, a new page named 'Dimagi Naxal Party' (@dimaginaxalparty) emerged on the social media platform Instagram, which has taken the internet by storm by gaining more than 1 lakh followers in just 24 hours and 1.8 lakh followers within two days.

However, it is not an official or recognized political party, but a social media initiative born out of the sarcasm of the Prime Minister's speech. The party also has an account on X named “Dimagi Naxal Janata Party”, which has more than 12 thousand followers. According to the party's bio on Instagram and The Instagram bio says the party's founder is “a single-minded Indian”, while the co-founder is a “56-inch man”.

What is ideology and who is the founder?
According to posts on the Instagram page, the party describes itself as a follower of the ideology of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. One post read, “We are followers of Bhagat Singh, if they try to suspend our accounts or declare us anti-nationals, then know that they are insulting Bhagat Singh. Although it is not known who created it and when the Instagram account was created, but the party's X account was created in August 2026.
Support of big personalities and comparison with 'Cockroach Janata Party'
The digital handle is following many popular and outspoken personalities on Instagram, including comedians Kunal Kamra, Shyam Rangeela, YouTuber Dhruv Rathi, actor Prakash Raj, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, actress Sonakshi Sinha, social activist Sonam Wangchuk and senior journalist Ravish Kumar. Social media analysts are comparing it with the recently emerged 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP). CJP also came into existence after an alleged comment by the Chief Justice of the country and in just 10 days, its number of followers had crossed 2 crores.
Account 'disappears' amid allegations of cyber attack

Amidst this rapidly increasing popularity, on Monday, through a post on the official X handle of this party (@DNJP_India), it was claimed that cyber attacks have started on their Instagram page. The post read, “Cyber attack has started against us on Instagram. Let's see if they succeed in suppressing our voice!” Shortly after this allegation, the Instagram page of 'Dimagi Naxal Party' has gone offline and appears to be unavailable at the moment. Before going offline, the page had posted several Instagram stories about being a victim of cyber attacks.
On which statement of PM Modi is there an uproar?
In fact, while addressing the nation on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi had said that the country has pushed back the armed Naxalism active in the forests, but some 'minded Naxalites' are still trying to mislead the youth at the ideological level and spread unrest in the country. He had appealed to the countrymen to identify such 'mindless Naxalites' and isolate them.
