Discussion with Chief Minister regarding Uttar Pradesh BJP organization expansion, appointments and election preparations.
Amidst the preparations for the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has accelerated the process of organizational changes. State President and Organization General Secretary met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and discussed important issues including organization expansion, appointment of regional presidents and adjustment of workers in corporations and commissions. This meeting is being considered important for the party’s next strategy.
Keeping in mind the upcoming election challenges, Bharatiya Janata Party has become active in strengthening the organizational structure. There is a discussion going on within the party regarding the long pending expansion of the organization and adjustment of experienced workers in various corporations, commissions and boards. In this sequence, State President Pankaj Chaudhary and Organization General Secretary Dharam Pal Singh visited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence.
According to sources, many important topics related to the organization were discussed in detail during the meeting. The opinion and consent of the Chief Minister is also believed to have been taken regarding the list of workers under consideration for appointment in corporations, commissions and boards. Apart from this, discussions were also held regarding the names of state unit and regional presidents.
For the last two months, continuous meetings were being held among the top leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party regarding the expansion of the organization. Several phases of discussions were held at both Delhi and Lucknow levels. The national leadership of the party is also keeping a close eye on this process.
According to sources, the issue of finalizing names for various posts was discussed at several levels among senior party leaders. Efforts are being made to maintain a balance in the organization between giving opportunities to new faces and handing over responsibility to experienced leaders. For this reason, it has taken more time than expected to finalize the list of state unit and regional presidents.
Bharatiya Janata Party is preparing to launch several big public relations and organizational campaigns in the coming days. Special campaigns related to the public life and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are also part of the party’s programmes. In such a situation, it is considered the priority of the party to finalize the organizational structure as soon as possible.
The party leadership wants that there should be clear distribution of responsibilities at the state, regional and district levels, so that the upcoming programs and campaigns can be implemented effectively. According to political experts, through organizational changes, Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to activate its workers in the election year and strengthen its hold at the grassroots level.
After the meeting, it is now being expressed that a new list of state unit and regional presidents may be announced soon. Along with this, many experienced workers are also likely to get responsibilities in corporations, commissions, boards and authorities.
According to sources, around 25 experienced faces can be accommodated in various organizations. However, no name or list has been officially confirmed by the party yet. It is believed in political circles that in the coming days, Bharatiya Janata Party can take important steps to give new momentum to the election preparations with better coordination between the organization and the government.
