According to the court, such violent incidents pose a serious threat to peace and harmony in the society.

The culprits were punished under sections 302 and 307 of IPC.

The court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Pankaj Gupta convicted Ankit Bhardwaj, Paras Bhardwaj, Dev Chopra and Karan Arora under sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
