District Magistrate conducted on-site inspection for permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging in Shahganj market.

District Magistrate Charchal Gaur today inspected the site along with officials to resolve the problem of waterlogging in Shahganj market of Ghorawal tehsil area. During the inspection, he took stock of the current situation of drainage in the market area and gave necessary instructions for a permanent solution to the problem.
The District Magistrate directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer to prepare a detailed estimate for the construction of a proper drainage drain to solve the problem of waterlogging in Shahganj market. He said that the drainage system should be ensured in such a way that the water flows towards the canal, so that permanent relief can be provided from the problem of waterlogging in the market and surrounding areas. The District Magistrate directed the concerned officers to expedite the necessary action and prepare and submit the proposal as soon as possible.
On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Jagriti Awasthi, District Development Officer Hemant Kumar Singh, District Panchayat Raj Officer Namita Sharan, Additional District Information Officer Vinay Kumar Singh and other officers, employees and local market people were present.
