District Magistrate Charcha Gaur conducted a surprise inspection of Atal Residential School, Gurmura on Friday and took stock of the arrangements of the school. During the inspection, he made a thorough observation of the cleanliness of the school premises, the education system run for the students, the restaurant and other basic facilities. The District Magistrate directed the Principal to take special care of cleanliness in the school and to provide quality and nutritious food to the students as per the prescribed standards.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate himself consumed the food prepared for the students along with the students and tested its quality. He praised the school administration for finding the quality of food satisfactory. Along with this, he also inspected the hostel and took stock of the cleanliness and arrangements there. On the occasion of World Environment Day, the District Magistrate also planted trees in the school premises and gave the message of environmental protection.
After inspection, he directed Additional Labor Commissioner Pipri to identify such places in the district where a large number of workers are employed. Necessary action should be taken by preparing an effective action plan to strengthen the rest, drinking water, sanitation and other necessary facilities for the workers at those places.
