District Magistrate is strict in reviewing IGRS complaints

During the review meeting held in the public hearing room at the Collectorate, District Magistrate Charchal Gaur, while reviewing the progress of disposal of complaints received on the IGRS portal, directed all the Deputy District Magistrates to sit at the Tehsil Headquarters from 10 am to 12 noon every day and hold public hearings and ensure timely and quality disposal of the complaints received. He directed that the complaints received in the public hearing should also be registered on the IGRS portal, so that their regular monitoring and effective disposal can be ensured.

The District Magistrate said that tehsil level problems should be resolved at the tehsil level and block level problems should be resolved at the block level on priority basis. With this, complainants will not have to visit higher level offices to get their problems resolved. He also directed all the block development officers to seriously listen to the complaints of the complainants coming to the block headquarters and ensure their timely disposal.

He said that as per the intention of the Chief Minister, solutions to the problems of the common people should be ensured at maximum local level, so that people do not have to wander elsewhere unnecessarily. The District Magistrate directed all the officers to work with complete sensitivity, transparency and accountability in redressal of complaints and said that special attention should be paid to the quality of redressal of complaints. Necessary guidelines were provided to the concerned officers in the review meeting held through video conferencing.

In the same sequence, the District Magistrate reviewed the one-week special revenue settlement campaign from June 17 to June 23, 2026, in which the cases related to Kurra distribution (Section 116), name transfer (Section 34), measurement (Section 24), Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme and Ownership/Gharoni Scheme, against a total of 1076 pending revenue cases, 170 cases have been disposed of today, on which the District Magistrate has Expressing displeasure at the concerned officials, the District Magistrate said that they should ensure timely settlement of revenue issues related to this campaign.
