Next week is Diwali, and parties in B-town are already hogging the limelight. From Tahira-Ayushmann’s party to IBTIDA Ek Mehfil’s Diwali celebration, ‘Itrh Ki Diwali’, celebs and influencers have amped up the glam quotient and have been making head-turning appearances at the parties.
Content creator and actor Kusha Kapila
Content creator and actor Kusha Kapila attended IBTIDA Ek Mehfil’s Diwali celebration, ‘Itrh Ki Diwali’, in Mumbai. The star-studded gathering saw several celebrities, including Ranveer Singh’s sister and mother. Another party was attended by Khushi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and her husband, Rohan Thakkar.
However, amid all the parties, celebs have been facing flak for their choice of outfits. From bold and revealing ensembles to backless outfits and looks showing underboobs, celebs have been facing criticism from social media users for allegedly not respecting the spirit of Diwali and wearing outfits that some consider inappropriate for the festival.

Kusha was spotted in traditional attire, wearing a heavy gold-bordered, jewel-toned designer blouse paired with a classic red Bandhani-print saree. The blouse featured a deep V-neck, fitted sleeves densely adorned with multicoloured beadwork and metallic embroidery. She paired the look with traditional gold and pearl jhumkas and carried a small gold potli bag. However, she appeared to suffer a wardrobe malfunction, as the blouse seemed ill-fitted and the underboob lining was visible while she posed for the cameras.
Following her appearance at the Diwali party, Kusha’s outfit drew mixed reactions on social media, with some users questioning its design and practicality. Many suggested that she should have opted for innerwear from her own brand to avoid a fashion disaster.
One user commented, “Why wear an outfit that looks like a struggle to carry? “
Another wrote, “So much cloth yet not covering herself properly! What weird stuff!”
“Doing it purposely,” a netizen commented.
Another user suggested that Kusha was seeking attention, writing, “Maybe she wants attention, that’s all.”
Criticising her transformation over the years, another user wrote, “She can do anything… look at her picture from 5 years back… you won’t even recognise her… sab plastic hai..”
Khushi Kapoor
Khushi Kapoor wore a deep purple Indo-Western outfit featuring intricate gold and green embellishments. The outfit included a halter-neck design, a fitted silhouette, and bold cut-outs around the waist. A thigh-high slit and a backless choli added to the glam quotient.
Khushi completed her look with a matching purple chiffon dupatta featuring gold zari embroidery and mirror-work tassels along the borders.
Her elder sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor, left a playful comment on the post, writing, “A little insane ????”
Actor Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, complimented Khushi’s appearance and commented, “Your best till date “
Anshula Kapoor and her husband, Rohan Thakkar, also made a stylish public appearance together at the event.
Anshula wore a metallic gold jacket paired with purple dhoti-style pants and pointed golden heels, while Rohan opted for a bandhgala. Anshula, who is already tall, chose pencil heels, making her appear taller than her husband.
Netizens criticised Anshula for wearing heels, with some commenting that she should have opted for flats instead.
