Supaul. Silence of the night… there was less traffic on the roads and most of the people were resting in their homes. Meanwhile, the police-administration team was seen active on the road in Supaul district. Late night search and investigation operations were conducted at various check posts in the district regarding crime control and security arrangements. The objective of the campaign was to keep an eye on suspicious activities and crack down on anti-social elements.
During this operation conducted at night, vehicles coming and going were checked at major check posts. Policemen kept a special watch on suspicious vehicles and persons. Necessary inquiries were made by stopping the vehicles and documents were also checked. Due to sudden police activation, security arrangements were also taken care of on the roads late at night.
This exercise of the administration is being considered an important step towards crime control. Checking and patrolling are being made effective especially to prevent criminal incidents, suspicious movement and anti-social activities happening at night.
The objective of such a campaign being run on the instructions of DM-SP is clear – to maintain law and order on the streets of Supaul even at night. Through police activism, efforts are being made to increase security confidence among common people and maintain fear of law among criminals. The administration has clarified that the investigation campaign regarding crime control and security arrangements will continue.
