Chhapra (Saran). The district administration has intensified preparations for the counting of votes to be held on Tuesday, October 27 under the Saran Teachers Constituency elections. On Monday, a review meeting was organized with the nodal officers of major cells in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Officer Vaibhav Srivastava. In this, the preparations for counting of votes, security arrangements, necessary facilities and responsibilities of various cells were reviewed in detail.
The District Officer directed all the concerned officials to complete the preparations within the stipulated time limit with mutual coordination. He clarified that there should be no shortage of security arrangements, necessary facilities and other arrangements at the counting venue. All officials were asked to work with full diligence to complete the counting of votes in a transparent, fair, peaceful and orderly manner.
During the review of the law and order cell in the meeting, necessary preparations for maintaining security and law and order during the counting of votes were discussed. At the same time, the food cell was asked to ensure proper food arrangements for the officials and personnel deputed for the counting of votes.
The arrangements related to the facilities and welfare of the personnel deputed under the Personnel Welfare Cell were reviewed. The Personnel Cell was instructed to ensure deputation and availability of necessary personnel for the counting work. Apart from this, while reviewing the preparations of the Vajragriha cell, special attention was also paid to the necessary arrangements related to the security of the Vajragriha and counting of votes.
The District Officer directed all the cells to execute their assigned responsibilities in a timely manner and remove any deficiencies in time. According to the district administration, necessary preparations are being ensured to conduct the counting of votes in Saran Teacher Constituency in a smooth and orderly manner.
