Do not eat these 5 things even by mistake during monsoon, otherwise stomach ache and serious diseases will devastate you.

Everyone likes the heavy rains and pleasant weather of monsoon, but this season also brings with it the risk of many types of bacteria, fungus and serious diseases. In this season, our digestive power (metabolism) naturally becomes very weak, due to which the risk of food poisoning and stomach related problems doubles. According to health experts and doctors, one should be extremely careful about one’s eating habits during rainy days. If you do not stop consuming certain things during this season, your health can deteriorate badly. Green leafy vegetables and salads: Green leafy vegetables like spinach, cabbage, fenugreek and broccoli, which are often considered beneficial for health, can prove to be the most dangerous during the rainy season. These days, due to excessive moisture, small insects, their eggs and harmful bacteria (like E-coli) start growing between the leaves, which are not easily cleaned even by washing with plain water. Apart from this, one should completely stay away from raw salads and pre-cut fruits available in hotels or on street vendors, because they get contaminated instantly due to being in the open. Samosas-pakodas and street food: Due to the taste, you may have to run to the hospital. As soon as it rains, most of the people feel like eating hot samosas, pakodas, chaat and golgappas. But to make this street food available in the market, poor quality oil and impure water are often used. The fungus and bacteria present in the monsoon air attack these fried foods very quickly. It becomes impossible for weak digestion to digest such heavy and oily food, due to which serious diseases like vomiting, diarrhea, acidity and typhoid can engulf you. Seafood, Mushrooms and Dairy Products: There is the highest risk of infection. If you are fond of eating non-veg or seafood (fish, prawns), then it is wise to avoid them during the four months of rainy season. Monsoon is the breeding season of fishes and other marine creatures, due to which there is a risk of serious stomach infection by consuming them at this time. Similarly, in mushrooms growing in humid areas and in dairy products like milk, cheese or curd that are kept in the open for a long time, bacteria become active very quickly, which becomes the main cause of food poisoning.
