Do not eat these things even by mistake in Saavan, it may lead to disaster

Sawan, the favorite month of Lord Shiva, has started from today. According to the Panchang, the month of Saavan has started in an auspicious time. Due to which the importance of this time's Sawan has increased further.

It is believed that all the wishes of the devotees who worship Bholenath and Mata Parvati properly with devotion and devotion are fulfilled. The first Monday of the month of Sawan is on 3rd August. At the same time, special care is taken regarding food during the month of Sawan.

  • Curd-Curd should not be eaten in Saavan. In Ayurveda, eating curd during rain is prohibited. Consuming curd in Sawan can cause cold, cough and throat related diseases. Therefore, curd should not be eaten during Sawan, especially at night.

    Leafy greens and vegetables- It is said in Ayurveda that Vata increases in the month of Shravan. In the month of Sawan, one should avoid eating leafy greens and vegetables like spinach, radish, cabbage. Actually, due to monsoon, insects get infested in them and if you eat them, you can fall ill.

    Avoid these things in Sawan-Bhado

    In the traditional medical system of Ayurveda, 'Ritucharya' refers to the rules of diet and lifestyle. These rules are based on 4 seasons. According to this, in the months of Shravan and Bhado, Vata starts getting agitated in the body and bile function starts increasing. Due to which health related problems start arising. Therefore, during these months it is advised to avoid eating all those things which have excess of Vata and Pitta nature.

    In terms of avoiding curd during Bhado, Ayurveda believes that eating curd and anything made from it should be avoided during the month of Bhado as this is the time when pitta increases in the body. In such a situation, these things disturb the balance of all three doshas in the body, which causes health related problems.
