China stole very special things of 220 million Americans, created a stir after Trump’s revelations
Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump made serious allegations against China in an event from the White House. He claimed that China has stolen the data of about 220 million American voters since the 2020 elections. According to Trump, this data included voters’ names, addresses, phone numbers and political parties as well as other important and sensitive details. Trump also alleged that some US “deep state” officials suppressed information about this alleged Chinese conspiracy and hid it from the President and the public.
Donald Trump again raised the issue of “SAVE Act”
Donald Trump spoke ill of China throughout his speech. This is not the first time that Donald Trump has accused China of stealing personal information. He has made similar claims in the past and has called on Congress to pass the “SAVE Act,” also known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act. He repeated this demand once again. Donald Trump called the data breach an “election security crisis” and said that America’s current election system does not meet the standards of a fair and reliable system.
Why is Donald Trump angry with the media?
Trump also said that America’s upcoming midterm elections will not be safe unless drastic changes are made in the voting process. Trump demanded that the US Congress pass the “SAVE Act,” which would require documentary proof for voter registration. At the end of his nearly 24-minute speech, Trump also took aim at the media networks that did not broadcast his speech live. He said that the broadcast licenses of such channels should be canceled because they are using the public airwaves for free.
