Donald Trump’s open warning to Iran, said – make a deal or we will drop bombs
Amidst the increasing tension in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump has given a strict warning to Iran. He clearly said that if Tehran does not accept the proposed peace agreement, it will have to face American attacks. Trump wrote on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that if Iran agrees to the set conditions, the military operation named ‘Epic Fury’ will be stopped immediately. But if no agreement is reached, America will take more swift and destructive action than ever before.
What was claimed in American media reports?
This statement has come at a time when American media reports claimed that rapid progress is being made between Washington and Tehran towards an end to the war and a preliminary agreement on the nuclear program. According to reports, the two countries are close to agreeing on a brief MoU which could form the basis of further detailed talks. However, Trump in an interview rejected the possibility of direct dialogue through Pakistan, calling it impractical. Despite this, Pakistan is said to be active in efforts to mediate between the two parties.
Earlier, Trump had announced to suddenly stop the American military operation named ‘Project Freedom’. This operation was being conducted to safely rescue the merchant ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said that the purpose of this step is to create a favorable environment for finalizing the peace agreement. However, he also made it clear that the US blockade on Iranian ports will continue in full force.
Trump’s claim on social media
Trump claimed on social media that this decision has been taken on the request of Pakistan and other countries, so that the talks can be taken forward. According to him, both sides are moving towards ‘complete and final agreement’ and positive signs are being seen.
However, there are continuous changes in Trump’s statements, due to which questions are being raised about his strategy. On one hand they are warning of tough military measures and on the other hand they are claiming progress in peace talks. From this it is not clear what America’s final policy is and in which direction this crisis will move in the coming days.
