Pakistan’s ‘friend’ in danger! Indian ship damaged in Arabian sea, Pakistan Navy came to rescue
An Indian ship got stuck in the Arabian Sea due to a mechanical fault. The Pakistani Navy stood next to the danger signal! Pakistan Navy arranges food, medical and other emergency assistance for sailors of Indian ships. The ship named MV Gautam was coming to India from Oman. It stalled in the Arabian Sea due to serious mechanical problems. As it was not possible to proceed in any way, it sent the danger crisis. After this, a ship of Pakistan Navy stood next to the Indian ship.
It is learned that Mumbai’s Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center contacted the Islamabad authorities and asked for help. Soon after, the Pakistani Navy launched a rescue and relief operation for the six Indian and one Indonesian sailor aboard the MV Gautam. A ship named PMSS is used for this. Pak Navy said in a statement, food, medical assistance has been provided to the crew of MV Gautam to ensure the safety of sailors in danger. Emergency assistance including technical assistance is also provided. The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) assisted the Pakistan Navy in this rescue and relief operation.

According to sources at the Gandhinagar headquarters of the Indian Navy, on May 3, MV Gautam’s power system was completely broken. The navy got information about this situation the next day i.e. May 4 at 11:22 PM. Help was sought from Islamabad as the Indian ship ran into danger near Pakistani waters. Pakistan Navy is helping in the same way. Although the sailors were rescued, MV Gautam’s generator could not be fixed, it is said. The ship owning company has been asked to arrange for alternative arrangements. Note that Gulf Times has posted a post on its Twitter handle. Pak Navy speedboats and a helicopter were seen carrying out rescue operations on the MV Gautam ship.
