‘Don’t buy new vehicles now, the government will add ethanol to diesel too’; Former Chief Minister’s big statement

New Delhi: The central government is planning to mix ethanol in diesel and aviation turbine fuel. Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday appealed to people not to buy new vehicles for the next few years. In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Kejriwal alleged that after implementing the E-20 fuel system, the government is planning to increase the ethanol content in petrol to more than 50 percent.

More than 50 percent ethanol is going to be mixed in petrol. They are just waiting for the situation to calm down. Earlier, they ruined your E-0 and E-10 cars by forcibly pouring E-20 petrol into them. If you buy a new E-20 car today, after some time the government will ruin that car by forcibly pouring E-50 petrol into it. E-20 petrol is a fuel that contains 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent normal petrol. Kejriwal has claimed that the government will soon mix ethanol in diesel.

Aircraft safety may be at risk

The Modi government is planning to blend ethanol in aviation turbine fuel. Experts say this could have a serious impact on aircraft safety. Earlier this month, Kejriwal had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his concerns over the implementation of E-20 petrol. He demanded that both pure petrol and E-20 fuel be made available at petrol pumps and the price of ethanol-blended petrol be reduced.

Lack of clarity from ‘Meta’

Kejriwal said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that after inquiring with Meta’s India office, he came to know that his Instagram account has been suspended and is not available in India. Sharing a video on ‘X’, Kejriwal said that Meta did not immediately respond to the matter.

Don’t bow down to the Prime Minister

Kejriwal also shared a screenshot of his account status, which read that it was unavailable in some places. He called the lack of clear information and response from the company a very poor service and told the company, do not bow down to the Prime Minister.
