He is currently 15 years old, so will he be able to maintain that same attitude for the next five years, i.e., until he is 20?
Uthappa further said, “We want him to remain innocence. We’re glad he’s staying away from endorsements and focusing on his game. Right now, he’s seen as a child, but when he turns 18, he’ll be seen as a man. This will also draw attention to girls. This could also distract him.”
The example given by Kambli-Shaw
Robin Uthappa believes Vaibhav Suryavanshi can make a bigger impact in white-ball cricket than legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. However, it will be important to see how Suryavanshi is managed. Uthappa said that Indian cricket has seen brilliant players emerge in the past. We saw Vinod Kambli and Prithvi Shaw, when they were 17-18 years old, people started asking what they would become, and then suddenly they lost their way.
Advice to stay away from social media
The former cricketer also advised Vaibhav Suryavanshi to stay away from social media. He said, “I don’t think he should be introduced to social media right now. This kid is made for cricket.
